A Bit About Atteberry P.C., Law Offices
Dennis started his legal career interning during law school and later becoming an attorney for Londrigan, Potter and Randle, P.C. in Springfield, Illinois. In order to pursue and broaden the types of law he had been practicing, he moved on and spent time working for Shay & Perbix in 2007. During this time he worked with as an accident lawyer in Springfield representing clients in personal injury and car accident claims. He also filed and represented many work injury claimants with Illinois Workers’ Compensation claims.
Following his passion for law and pull to return to his Taylorville roots he built a home for his new family with his soon to be wife Cassandra and stepson Shawn. Soon after, it was apparent that our community needed an attorney in Taylorville that would make this area his home. Dennis opened his Taylorville practice in 2008 . Using his experience from larger firms he was now able to serve the clients in his hometown with all the knowledge he had received being mentored by some of the big name firms. Dennis prides himself on giving his clients the best outcome for their claim.
Presently, Dennis has been practicing law for 20 years and lives in Taylorville with his wife Cassandra. They have 8 year old twin boys and a son who just graduated with an MBA from Eastern IL University in Charleston, IL.

Each case is unique on how fees are arranged. We have cases that are done on a contingecy basis,information flat rate and cases taken on retainer. Contact our office and we will be glad to provide you information on how your case fees will be handled.
Contingency fees are fees earned at the completion of your case when there has been a recovery on a workers’ compensation or personal injury case. No attorney fees are required up front on contingency fee cases.
A retainer is an amount of money set aside in a special account for future attorney fees. This amount varies by the type of case. Setting up a free consultation will provide us with the details we need to determine how much a retainer will be. There may be additional funds required after the initial retainer depending on the amount of time spent resolving your case. Monthly statements are provided.
